The Meyer Foundation uses a two-step application process:

Step One

Eligible candidates interested in requesting a grant from the Meyer Foundation are required to first submit a letter of inquiry (LOI). Even if your organization has received funding from Meyer in the past, we request that you review our guidelines and complete a new letter of inquiry for each new request.

Step Two

The letter of inquiry will be reviewed by the Foundation. Applicants will be notified about the Foundation's interest within two months of the submission deadline. If a request is selected for further consideration, a program officer will schedule a meeting to discuss the request. At that time, a full proposal may be invited and the program officer and applicant will agree upon its submission date.

Organizations may use the Common Grant Application as the proposal.

Please note that the common grant application was recently revised. Even if you have completed it before, please download a new copy to ensure that you're using the most recent version. A request for submission of a full proposal in no way guarantees eventual funding of the request.

Uninvited proposals will not be accepted.
