The 21st Century School Fund was founded in 1994 to build public will and capacity to modernize urban public school facilities to enable high quality education and community revitalization. In addition to its work to improve DC public schools, the organization works as a consultant to other nonprofits and foundations working to improve urban schools throughout the United States.
