Meyer Grantees Awarded Funds as Part of Healthy Communities Program

The District has received a grant from the General Mills Foundation's Healthy Communities initiative.  The Mayor's Commission on Food and Nutrition will distribute grants from this fund to a number of local organizations, including Brainfood and the Young Women's Project.  The Washington Post highlights this announcement in its District Briefings section.
